What Houston Looks Like From Space

February 5th, 2009

NASA’s Expedition 18 Crew aboard the International Space Station took this photo of Houston last night as it flew over the  JSC area around 6:55 p.m. This is what we look like from space!

Not only can the ISS see us, but we can see the ISS. If you didn’t catch the ISS last night, NASA has compiled a list of  upcoming ISS Houston flyover dates and times during the next week.

Grab your binoculars and you might see some of the solar panels attached to the International Space Station. And wave, the astronauts could be looking back at you!
