Space Center Launches Facebook Fan Contest!

Calling all Facebook fans! We want to give you the chance to win 5 entire years of FREE admission to SCH to celebrate NASA’s 50th Anniversary! All you have to do is become a fan of our new Facebook page, then simply Email us at blog@spacecenter.org with the subject line “Fan Contest”, along with your contact information for the chance to win FREE ADMISSION to Space Center Houston for 5 whole years! One month from now on Feb. 28th, 2009, we will hold a drawing and announce the winner of the Grand Prize!

NANCY BILLE!!!!!

A big heartfelt congratulations goes out to Nancy Bille from the Space Center Houston education department for winning the coveted honor of September Crew Member of the Month!

“Nancy started on February 14, 2007 in the Education Department. She provides exceptional customer service to our teachers and scout leaders by taking their reservations and providing answers to their questions concerning our teacher workshops and Scout Camp-in’s. Judy Giles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Judy was the proud recipient of the Space Center Houston Crew Member of the Month Award for June. Judy is a member of the Operations team in Guest Services.

Judy’s Nomination Highlights:

Judy is always eager to learn new things and was RECENTLY PROMOTED to Training Lead.
Judy consistently strives to provide excellent customer service for our guests.
Judy has not only worked hard for guest services, but also does an amazing job in the education department as an education instructor.
Judy always has a smile for her fellow crew members.

“Judy has one of the most positive attitudes I’ve ever seen. She is extremely hard working. She was promoted from ticket seller to Back-up Lead pretty quickly-because of her willingness to take on new tasks and her positive attitude. She has recently been invited to join the Training Lead Team. This means that she will oversee all of the training of new and exsisting crew members for the Guest Services rotation. This is a very big job which is detail oriented, but Judy as proven herself worthy of the the task.”
