Space Center Houston welcomed the 5th grade class winners of the 2008 Southwest Adopt-A-Pilot CAREER TAKEOFF National Contest. Out of 27,0000 students who participated in the program this year, Mrs. Sherri Duggan’s class from Poetry, Texas were the recipients of the Captain’s Award; a day long “flying field trip” to Space Center Houston! The class and their chaperones departed from Dallas Love Field and landed at Houston Hobby Airport, and then spent the day exploring here at SCH. (more…)

A big congratulations goes out to our newest crew member of the month, Ray Broussard. Ray works in the facilities department here at Space Center Houston and came highly recommended for this prestigious employee award.
