On the Moon Educator Guide from NASA and PBS
PBS’ award-winning Design Squad and NASA have developed new engineering design activities related to our Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter and the Lunar Crater Observation and Sensing Satellite missions—better known as LRO and LCROSS. Students grades 3-12 design and build rubber band-powered rovers, heavy lifter cranes, targeting apparatus, and more. Download the guide from www.nasa.gov Educators page or from www.pbskids.org/designsquad.

P.S. PBS will be offering free on-line training in June to demonstrate how to get kids engaged, focused, and thinking creatively before they plunge into building!
