Teacher Programs

One of the greatest challenges facing new teachers is finding inexpensive, standards-based curriculum to support their learning objectives. NASA creates lessons, activities, video programs, and other multimedia resources to help educators inspire students' enthusiasm for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics career paths.
Johnson Space Center and Space Center Houston are partnering to offer Texas preservice educators tailor-made workshops through the teacher certification programs at their colleges and universities. This pilot program introduces and guides new teachers in using NASA-created supplemental curriculum, in exploring NASA education projects, and in making contact with Space Center Houston's educational programs.
The time frame, location, and specific objectives of each workshop are developed according to the needs expressed by the preservice faculty. To arrange one of these free workshops, contact:
