Webelos Workshop NEW!

The Webelos Scout Workshop is the same out-of-this-world activities from our Camp-Ins. This 4 hour workshop allows Scouts to complete the essential components of the Scientist Badge as they design a protective spacesuit for a shuttle astronaut, discover the effects of air pressure, and conduct activities involving Bernoulli's Principle and Pascal's Law. Same day admission to the center is included in your workshop price.

What will we get for our money?
For only $45 per scout and $25 per adult within the approved ratio, you will receive a wonderful educational experience for your scouts as well as lunch, and a same day visit to tour Space Center Houston on your own.

Can we bring other family members?
No, this workshop is reserved for the scouts and their leaders/chaperones only. However, you can have your family members join you in the afternoon for your same day visit. You can purchase $10 discounted tickets the morning of the workshop for your family members that will be joining you that day. Family members should meet your leader at the front doors at 12:45 pm.

How many scouts can attend a Camp-In?
We take up to 30 scouts per Workshop.

How many adults can I bring?
We hope that everyone interested in attending our workshops will be able to join us. Adults that attend the workshop are charged the regular rate of $25 per adult. However, the limit is two adults per one scout.

How should I pay for this?
We must have full payment or credit card to hold your reservation for the workshop. We will accept a troop/pack check, money orders, or credit cards. We can not accept individual checks from parents. Payment is due no later than six weeks before your workshop. You may register over the phone with a credit card to secure your reservation. If cancellation or a different form of payment is not received six weeks prior to the workshop, the credit card will be charged.
