School Visits
Outer Space Academy
Welcome to the Outer Space Academy
Class Times: 10:30 – 11:45 – 1:00 – 2:00
Call to schedule – limited availability
Extend your field trip and take your educational experience to new heights with a visit to the Outer Space Academy. Outer Space Academy (OSA) classes are a 45-60 minute class giving students an opportunity to participate in an educational and FUN hands-on activity. All lessons meet TEKS and National Science Standards. OSA classes are an additional $3 per student (min. 20 students – max. 30 students). 1:10 adult ratio is free and any additional adults are $3 each. Classes are available for all grades levels K-12.
Additional Information:
OSAs have $60/20 student minimum. If your school has less than 20 students, you will be required to pay the $60 minimum for the class.
Classes available Monday-Friday. Times are 10:30, 11:45, 1:00, and 2:00 and space is limited. For additional information call 281-283-4755 or email reservations@spacecenter.org.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Shapes 'n Space (Kindergarten)
"Shape" up your students' knowledge of geometric shapes by designing space related objects. Sharpen their skills by finishing with an out-of-this-world game of BINGO.
Astronaut Training Stations (1st-2nd)
Train like the astronauts! While wearing gloves, students will perform various challenging "missions". Upon completion, students will have gained an understanding of the difficulties which astronauts face while training for a mission.
