Hands-On activities:

Ares V BoosterELEMENTARY (GRADES 2-5):
Your students will blast off to an evening full of fun! They will design and test air rockets that launch to outstanding heights, learn the history of manned space flight with a scavenger hunt and tour of our Starship Gallery and explore the ends of our solar system in our brand new Planetarium and build Galileo Telescopes so they can explore more at home!

JUNIOR HIGH (GRADES 6-8):
Your students will become Junior Engineers as they test and develop new rockets and robotics. In "Rocket Science" your students will use Newton's 3rd law to launch their rockets and then determine the speed at which they traveled. In "CEV" we will teach your students about NASA's new Constellation program and our drive for the moon. They will then continue that mission and design new transportation to get us to Mars. Finally, in order to work in space, we need robotics. Your students will develop new robotic arms that will assist their astronauts on a mission.

HIGH SCHOOL (GRADES 9-12):
Dive head first into the world of NASA engineers! Students will discover the challenges of working within a budget... just like real engineers! Communication and team work are stressed as students construct a working robotic rover that will be tested to accomplish a mission on Mars. But before our rovers can explore the surface you need to get them there. Build a Mars Lander to get your rover to the surface of Mars!
