Hands-On activities:

ELEMENTARY (GRADES 2-5):
Your students will blast off to an evening full of fun! Watch as they design and test air rockets that launch to outstanding heights. Compete in a scavenger hunt in our Starship Gallery with real space capsules. Then they will explore the ends of our solar system and model what they have seen in our Starlab Planetarium!

MIDDLE SCHOOL ACTIVITIES (GRADES 6-8):
Have you ever wondered how a flame burns in space? Students will discover the differences of a candle burning in space and how it burns here on Earth with our Flame Drop activity. Using a solar panel Robotikits your students will explore solar energy and how it can help in everyday life. They will also get a look into the history of space travel with our Scavenger Hunt in our Starship Gallery.

HIGH SCHOOL (GRADES 9-12):
Do your high school students have what it takes to be engineers and scientists? Find out through a series of mathematically and scientifically challenging activities, such as exploring and discovering projectile motion. Go further in depth using physics and chemistry to explore Flames in Microgravity.
