Failure is Not an Option
Experience our one day astronaut training. Future astronauts will dock the shuttle with the International Space Station, learn how to land the shuttle, and try to solve some of NASA’s toughest problems. Experience the Apollo 13 mission as a NASA engineer and try to solve these and other outer space problems.

Week Long Space Adventure

Time: 8:30-3:30

Mission To Mars (FULL WEEK) REDESIGNED FOR 2008!
We want you! Become a Mission Specialist and join a crew on a mission to Mars. With your team, design and build a rocket for a trip to the red planet. Rockets will be launched at NASA's Johnson Space Center (weather permitting). Build a robotic rover to retrieve precious Martian rocks. Future engineers will design and test a Lander to safely deliver their rover to the surface of Mars and problem solve how to launch their rocket back into Martian orbit using the principles of propulsion, mass and friction. Study the Martian surface and discover that it Rocks! Mission Specialist will take home a copy of the first color picture taken on the surface of Mars, a book about the red planet, a model rocket and Mars Polar Lander kit to build at home. Don't miss out on this fast paced, week-long Mars adventure.
